Lotus Esprit with "McLaren" body — Photo Page One 
Woodburn Drag Strip, May 1994. This was the first time out for McManns, and
was at our Oregon Region SCCA Autocross School. I drew the privilege of being one of
the instructors for Cris and his son, Brody, and it is your's truly in the passenger side in
this photo. I was running the computer for timing and scoring, so entered the car name as
McLotus (McLaren repro body, McMann owner/driver, Lotus chassis) and the name stuck.
A couple of events later, Cris put a McLotus sticker on the windshield! I had the joy of
competing in this car at about four events when Chuck Jarvie was not able to attend
events with "my" usual Tiga ride.
