Clackamas Community College, March 1993. This car was a joy to drive, especially after fighting the push in the Elden. With tire pressures set correctly, it was very neutral and would do what I wanted it to do. It was very reliable, and the only time it let us down was at the SoloII Nationals in Kansas in 1993 when a $9 left rear suspension fitting broke causing the CV joint to tear apart. No spares could be found, so we towed it home after one run. My thanks to Chuck Jarvie, Owner, for letting me push the pedals. A great ride, this! |
