Portland International Raceway, Pro Pits, September 1991. Dean's aluminum nose has been replaced by another aluminum nose which I made using his as a starting point. I didn't like the short blunt look of his nose, so this one is longer and blends better with the lines of the bottom of the car. It also blended better with the back of the trailer; it was so low that I bent it beyond repair loading the car onto the trailer after the event. So, I made another one, but after that, I had someone stand on the back of the trailer while loading the car.
Bad boy. Bad, bad boy. I needed gas, so I drove about ten blocks up the street to the Mobil station. There were about 15 people around the car sooner than I could say "fill'er up." The only person who wasn't eyeballing it was the cashier in the station. Bad boys just have to have fun. |
